Privacy notice
This explains what personal details Flesher Engineering collects, why, and how they're looked after. In short: we only use your details to reply to you and do the work you ask for. We never sell them.
Who we are
Flesher Engineering is a design, 3D printing and prototyping business based in Leeds, UK. We are responsible for the personal details described here (the "data controller").

What we collect
When you use the enquiry form, we collect what you choose to give us:
- your name and email address
- your phone number and how you'd like us to reply, if you give them
- details of your project, such as sizes, quantity, material and when you need it
- photos you upload and links to 3D files
- how you heard about us, if you tell us
If you contact us by email, phone or Instagram, we keep the messages and anything you send with them.
Why we use it
- To reply and give you a quote. We use your details because you've asked us to, before agreeing any work.
- To do the work. If you go ahead, we use your details to design, make, deliver or fit what you've asked for.
- To keep business records. We keep records of jobs and invoices because the law requires it for tax and accounts.
We won't send you marketing emails unless you've asked to hear from us.
Where it's stored and who else sees it
We don't sell or share your details with anyone for their own use. We do use a small number of trusted services to run the business:
- WebsitePublisher hosts this website and stores enquiry form submissions and the photos you upload.
- Google (Gmail) is how we receive enquiry notifications and send and receive email.
- Google Fonts provides the fonts on this website, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
- Instagram, if you message us there.
Some of these services may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved for transferring personal data, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't go ahead: deleted within 12 months.
- Jobs we carry out: kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting records, which is at least 5 years after the end of the tax year.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. It only uses what's strictly needed for the site and the enquiry form to work, which doesn't need your consent.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
- tell you what details we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your details, where we don't need to keep them by law
- stop or limit how we use them
To ask, email flesherengineering@gmail.com. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
